Reviewer Guidelines

Journal Purpose

International Journal of Community Development and Local Wisdom (IJCDLW) aims to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration by publishing high-quality research articles, case studies, reviews, and policy analyses that address the challenges and opportunities in sustainable community services and development.

Reviewer Criteria

  1. Have sufficient competence and knowledge in the field of sustainable community services and development.
  2. Experienced as a researcher, teacher, or practitioner in the field of sustainable community services and development.
  3. Able to conduct reviews objectively and openly without any bias or conflict of interest.

Review Procedure

  1. Each article will be assigned to at least two reviewers based on their field of expertise.
  2. Reviewers will carefully examine the article and provide clear, constructive feedback.
  3. Reviewers will provide recommendations on whether the article is suitable for publication.
  4. Reviewers are expected to provide feedback within 2-4 weeks of receiving the article.

Assessed Aspects

  1. Originality and novelty of the article.
  2. Relevance of the article to the field of sustainable community services and development.
  3. The quality of the research methodology used.
  4. Clarity and completeness of data analysis and research results.
  5. Adherence of the article to the writing format and academic rules.

Reviewer Ethics

  1. Maintain the confidentiality of the article assigned for review.
  2. Do not plagiarize or use information obtained from the article being reviewed for personal gain.
  3. Provide honest, open, and objective feedback.
  4. Do not discriminate against authors based on background or institutional origin.

Follow-up

  1. If the article is recommended for publication, the author will be asked to make revisions in accordance with the reviewer's feedback.
  2. If the article is not recommended for publication, the author will be given clear, constructive reasons for future improvement.
  3. If the article is recommended for revision, the author will be asked to make improvements based on the reviewer's feedback and resubmit the revised article for review.
  4. If the article has been revised and stated to meet the criteria for publication, the article will be approved for publication and further processed by the editorial team.

Awards

  1. Reviewers who have reviewed well and consistently will receive an award from the International Journal of Community Development and Local Wisdom (IJCDLW).
  2. The award can be presented as a certificate of appreciation or recognition in a journal publication.

Conclusion

The Reviewer Guidelines are expected to assist reviewers in performing their duties properly and consistently. With these guidelines, it is hoped that this journal will maintain high-quality publications relevant to the field of sustainable community services and development.
